SМР-5Р table for installation and verification of level gauges

SMP-5P table for installation and verification of level gauges is designed to determine error of measuring fluid level of magnetostrictive level gauges such as SiteSential made in the USA by ORW company; Veeder-Root made in the USA by Gilbargo company and similar level gauges during their periodic verification, national metrological certification and calibration.

SMP-5P is designed for use as support equipment by verification and calibration laboratories during verification of level gauges using comparison method in accordance with the requirements of RD 50-388, HOST 8.321, MPY 236/03-2009.

The optimal portable table construction allows to perform verification of level gauges using various types of working measurement standards such as:
1. Measuring tapes are certified as working measurement standard of the 3rd category in accordance with the requirements of DSTU 3741. Then verification of the measuring tapes is carried out in accordance with MI 1780-87;
NOTE SMP-5R standard version is supplied by measuring tapes are certified as working measurement standard of the 3rd category.
2. Plane-parallel of the customer end-gauge;
3. The customer reference level gauge with ±0,3 mm error.

Technical capabilities SMR-5R construction allows of:

  • installation of level probes to 4,0 m,
  • magnetostrictive gauges such as SiteSential made in the USA by ORW company are fixed by the float using special instrument (lodgement) and set of tools for it.

Minimal overall dimensions and collapsible construction of SMR-5R allows its easy transportation, quick installation and verification (calibration) gauges at the place of operation.

SMR-5R additional technical capabilities

1. It is possible to produce SMR-5R construction for the installation and verification of magnetostrictive level gauges using the customer reference level gauge with ±0,3 mm error.
2. It is possible to produce SMR-5R construction for installation and verification of magnetostrictive level gauges to 5 m.

NOTE for an additional fee, as the Customer's request, the delivery set can include:

1. plane-parallel end gauges of 2 categories of 500 mm or 1000 mm or others.
2. reference level gauge with an error of ± 0.3 mm.
3. case for storage and transportation of SMR-5R.
