Work principles

The AMRL consists of three measurement standards: HORL-0, VERL-90, WARL-180 that are fixed on the one metal construction.

The reference lines are formed by four EAC-300/50 autocollimators.

The AMRL metal construction is designed and adjusted in a way that the three autocollimation reference axes are crossed at the one AMRL reference point.

The object table with lifting mechanism and mechanical inclinometer is fixed on the metal design. Geodetic instrument is installing on it the object table for calibration.

The object table with lifting mechanism allows the AMRL reference point combines with the geodetic instrument reference point (intersection point of the geodetic instrument axes) of any height from the lowest levels to the highest theodolites or total stations.

Mechanical inclinometer of the object table is measure the tilt angle of any geodetic instrument rotation axis during research its compensatory system. At this point the geodetic instrument is direct to HORL-0 or VERL-90 for their measurements.

HORL-0 is used for research compensatory system of the optical and laser levels (rotating laser levels and cross liners) and also compensatory system of the theodolites or total stations.

VERL-90 is used for research compensatory system of the optical and laser plumbing instruments or laser levels with vertical laser beam.

HORL-0 and WARL-180 are used to fully research of the theodolites and total stations metrological characteristics.

The reference lines are formed by the autocollimator floor lamp. They are observed in optical systems of any geodetic instruments and can be used for their calibration.
