EUROPEAN METROLOGY PROGRAMME FOR INNOVATION AND RESEARCH (EMPIR)
Anton PETRENKO Leading Researcher, who works at the Department of Measurements of Physicochemical Quantities SE "UKRMETRTESTSTANDART" for more than 10 years in the field of metrology in chemistry. He participates in two EURAMET/EMPIR projects.
One project is 20NRM06 SapHTies (Metrology for standardised seawater pHT measurements in support of international and European climate strategies). The overall aim of 20NRM06 SapHTies is to develop SI-traceable measurement methods for pHT in seawater.

And the other project is the 22RPT03 GrainMet (Metrology for standardised water content measurement in plant origin bulk materials in support of International and European food safety and trade). Aims of the 22RPT03 GrainMet are to develop procedures for Karl Fischer titration method for moisture content in plant-origin bulk materials providing metrologically traceable measurements and to create plant matrix CRMs that would provide traceability to SI to support CMC claims. This project will impact many industries, particularly those involved in the storing, handling, processing and trade of plant origin bulk materials as well as the metrology and science community.
He has been cooperating in these two projects for almost one year now.
