Natalia Parkhomenko Leading Researcher, who works at the Department of Optico - Physical Quantities. She participates EURAMET/EMPIR project 23RPT02 ETraceAbs (Establishing European traceability for medical measuring devices through liquid absorbance filters). The overall aim of 23RPT02 ETraceAbs is to develop the liquid optical absorption filters to provide traceability in medical measuring devices. There are strong demands for the international recognition of quality in medical and metrology services for which National Metrology Institutes need to provide spectral transmittance and optical absorbance traceable to SI units through liquid absorbance filters. The results of the 23RPT02 ETraceAbs also will produce guidance aiming at supporting national compliance with EU Directives for control of medical measuring devices.
