Geodetic instruments calibration by AMRL

On the AMRL are obtained almost all metrological characteristics and geometric parameters of the geodetic instruments during their calibration.

Total stations and theodolites

Experimental standard deviation (s) or experimental standard error (σ) of the horizontal angle measurement (for mean values in both face positions I and II of the telescope);

Experimental standard deviation (s) or experimental standard error (σ) of the vertical angle measurement (for mean values in both face positions I and II of the telescope);

Compensatory system operating range;

The systematic component of the compensation error for inclination instrument rotation axis on 1′ of tilting;

The random component of the compensation error for inclination instrument rotation axis - experimental standard error (σ) of the compensation for inclination instrument rotation axis;

Horizontal circle eccentricity maximum effect to measured horizontal angle;

Vertical circle eccentricity maximum effect to measured vertical angle;

Non-perpendicularity of the telescope rotation axis to the instrument alidade rotation axis;

Change non-perpendicularity of the telescope rotation axis to the instrument alidade rotation axis during change of the telescope instrument tilt angle on ± 20°;

Tilt angle of the telescope reticle hair;

Instrument collimation error;

Vertical index error (zero position, position of zenith) of the instrument vertical circle;

Optical and laser plummet error by 1 m of the instrument height;

Deviation of the laser measuring beam axis from the telescope reticle cross hair center.

 

 

Optical levels and plumbing instruments

Optical level displacement of the sighting (collimation) axis (angle between the sighting (collimation) axis and horizontal planes measured in vertical plane);

Compensatory system operating range;

The systematic component of the compensation error for inclination instrument rotation axis on 1′ of tilting;

The random component of the compensation error for inclination instrument rotation axis - experimental standard error (σ) of the compensation for inclination instrument rotation axis;

Tilt angle of the telescope reticle hair.

 

Laser levels (rotating and crossliners), laser plumbing instruments

Reproduction error of horizontal sighting axis or plane in longitudinal and transverse directions;

Reproduction error of vertical sighting axis or plane;

Compensatory system or self-recovery system operating range of the horizontal or/and vertical laser axis or plane;

The systematic component of the compensation or self-recovery error for inclination instrument rotation axis on 1° of tilting;

The random component of the compensation or self-recovery error for inclination instrument rotation axis - experimental standard error (σ) of the compensation for inclination instrument rotation axis;

Right angle (90°) reproduction error between crossliners vertical planes.
