Research and production department for mass measurement
(department № 35)

The department conducts such types of metrological works:

• organize R & D works in the field of measurement of mass;
• verification of weighing instruments and weights;
• calibration of mass standards, weights and weighing instruments;
• conformity assessment of weighing instruments with the requirements of the Technical Regulations;
• development of projects of national measurement standards in the field of mass measurement;
• organize of interlaboratory comparisons (proficiency testing) in the field of mass measurement.

The department consists of:
Research and production laboratory for mass standards (Laboratory № 35-1)
Research and production laboratory for testing of weighing instruments (Laboratory № 35-2)
Laboratory for mass measurement (Laboratory № 35-3)
