Research department for measurement of motion parameters and vibro-acoustic measurement

The department conducts such types of metrological works:
- development and maintenance of national measurement and other subordinate standards of Ukraine;
- conformity assessment, verification and calibration of measuring instruments (MIs) of motion parameters and vibro-acoustics measurement;
- development and expertise of regulatory, methodical and technical documentation;
- development and validation procedures for measurement of MIs in the field of acoustics, vibration and motion parameters.
Conformity assessment of legal MIs: - audiometers;
- flaw detectors: magnetic, eddy current, ultrasonic, spark;
- road traffic law enforcement equipment with photo- and videocapturing functions;
- remote equipment for measuring of the speed of vehicles;
- remote equipment for measuring of the space-time parameters of location of vehicles (traffic light cameras, intersection control cameras);
- sound level meters, microphones, acoustic calibrators;
- tachographs;
- taximeters;
- vibrometers.
Calibration of MIs: - acoustic reverberation and anechoic chambers;
- anemometers, Pitot tubes, aerodynamic wind tunnels;
- devices for vehicle inspection: brake testers, headlight testers, wheel balancers;
- flaw detectors;
- sound level meters, microphones, acoustic calibrators;
- tachometers, centrifuges;
- skid resistance testers;
- sound level meters, microphones, acoustic calibrators;
- vibrometers, standard vibration transducers, vibration calibration workstations, vibration testing systems;
- working standards for audiometry: artificial ear, artificial mastoid.
