Research and production laboratory for testing of weighing instruments
(laboratory № 35-2)

The laboratory conducts such types of metrological works:

• conformity assessment of automatic and non-automatic weighing instruments with the requirements of the Technical Regulations according to modules B, F, F1, G;
• conformity assessment of instruments for the bulk density measurement of cereals;
• conformity assessment of weights;
• assessment of quality management systems with the requirements of the Technical Regulations according to modules D, D1, E, H1;
• testing of weighing instruments and their modules (indicators, analog-to-digital converters, terminals, etc.), in particular, temperature tests, wet heat tests, voltage change tests, durability tests, etc.

The laboratory performs conformity assessment of:

• non-automatic weighing instruments for conformity with the requirements of the Technical Regulations on non-automatic weighing devices;
• automatic weighing instruments (automatic catchweighing instruments, automatic gravimetric filling instruments, discontinuous totalizing automatic weighing instruments, continuous totalizing automatic weighing instruments, automatic rail-weighbridges) according to the requirements of the Technical Regulations on Measuring Instruments;
• automatic instruments for weighing road vehicles in motion and measuring axle loads, instruments for the bulk density measurement of cereals and weights according to the requirements of the Technical Regulation on legal measuring instruments.

Laboratory equipment:

• climatic chamber UTV 12000-ТХВ-1/-40...60 (volume 12 m3, temperature range from minus 40 to 60 °C, humidity range up to 98% at a temperature of 60 °C);
• climatic chamber FEUTRON 3007-05 (volume 0.25 m3, temperature range from minus 40 to 60 °C, humidity range up to 95% at a temperature of 60 °C);
• strain gauge load cell simulator K3607 (strain calibrator);
• AC voltage supply  ITECH IT7322;
• DC voltage supply  ITECH IT6942A;
• test bech for endurance test of non-automatic weighing instruments;
• weights.
