1.1 SMP-4.5P portable table for installation and verification of level gauges and sounding sticks (hereinafter - table) is designed for:

1.1.1 verification (determining the error of liquid level measurement) of magnetostrictive level gauges by simulation method in accordance with MPY 236/03-2009 Instruction. Metrology. Sets of technical means for accounting petroleum products in tanks. Verification procedure.

1.1.2. verification (determining the deviations of total scale length and its separate intervals from the nominal values) of sounding sticks in accordance with DSTU HOST 8.247:2009 GSI. Sounding sticks for measurement level of petroleum products in transport and stationary capacities. Verification methods and means.

1.2 Application area of the table: it is used as an auxiliary equipment in the verification and calibration of level gauges and sounding sticks on the place of operation.

 

The table design ensures verification of level gauges of SiteSential type by ORW company and Veeder-Root type by Gilbargo company made in the USA (determining the error of liquid level measurement), magnetostrictive level gauges by simulation method and sounding sticks during its periodic verification on the place of operation.

3.1 The table is transported in a disassembled form in two carrying cases and it is assembled of the main parts at the place of operation:

3.2 The table at the place of operation can be assembled of two beams on three supports for verification of level gauges with the length of working rod to 3200 mm and sounding sticks to 3 meters. For verification of level gauges with the measurement range to 4000 mm and sounding sticks to 4.5 meters, the table is assembled at the place of operation of three supporting beams on four supports. Each tripod type support has a vertical movement mechanism for the possibility to make a horizontal position of the table beam.
