From December 2 to 3, 2025, SE "UKRMETRTESTSTANDART" held another training seminar for specialists in the field of metrology "Functions, rights and obligations of personnels responsible for metrological activities at enterprises". The event was organized and moderated by specialists of the Research and Technical Institute of the National Metrology Service of Ukraine (Institute) SE "UKRMETRTESTSTANDART".

The seminar was opened and delivered by Ihor POTOTSKYI, Ph.D., Acting Deputy Director General for metrology – Director of the Institute. He emphasized that the issues of training and professional training of personnel involved in metrological work is given attention to by leading organizations of both international and national levels. After all, this activity is of great importance for the state in the context of ensuring the reliability and uniformity of measurements, proper quality of products, services and public safety. SE “UKRMETRTESTSTANDART” as a Scientific Metrological Center, appointed by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, is a leader among metrological institutes in Eastern Europe and in Ukraine. SE “UKRMETRTESTSTANDART” regularly holds various educational events aimed at improving the competence of personnel of metrological services, divisions, testing and calibration laboratories. 

The following Institute specialists also presented reports:

Liubov NESVIDOMINA, Head of the Research and technical department of Legal Metrology;

Viktoriya SHVEDOVA, Ph.D., Associate Professor, Leading Researcher of the Research and technical department of Legal Metrology;

Ivan CHIZHYK, Head of the Research and technical department of Certification of Measuring Laboratories.

At the end of each day of classes, seminar participants took tests to self-assess and check the assimilation of the information received. Subsequently, the topics of the reports, as well as the answers to the test questions, were discussed in detail and commented on by the lecturers. Seminar participants had the opportunity to ask the lecturers questions on pressing problems of the organizations' activities and receive qualified answers from the Institute's specialists. The listeners noted the usefulness and necessity of regularly holding such training seminars.

As a result of the seminar, all participants received personalized Certificates.
