Prof. Dr. Oleksandr SAMOILENKO, Director of the Research and Production Institute for Measurement of the Geometrical, Mechanical and Vibro-acoustical Quantities and Assessing the Conformity of Measuring Instruments (Institute №4) represents Ukraine in the international measurement community as a Member of the International Measurement Confederation (IMEKO) Technical Committee 8 Traceability in Metrology (IMECO TC8) and a Member of Technical Committee 22 Vibration Measurement (IMECO TC22).

Representatives of the Institute are Members of the International Organization of Legal Metrology (OIML) Technical Committee (TC):

• OIML/TC 7 Measuring instruments for length and associated quantities;
• OIML /TC 8 Measurement of quantities of fluids;
• OIML /TC 9 Instruments for measuring mass and density.

Institute has created and maintains 4 National measurement standards (NMSs) to meet the needs of customers in the field of high-precision measurement of  plane vibration, angle, mass and force quantities:

• National measurement standard of length, speed and acceleration of the oscillatory motion of the solid body (NDETU AUV 01-2019);
• National measurement standard of the planar angle (DETU 01-05-10);
• National standard of mass in the range from 2 kg to 20 kg (NDETU M 06-2019);
• National measurement standard of force (DETU 02-07-11).
