EURAMET calls on Europe’s scientific, technical, and business community to support the Future European Metrology Initiative, which will define the direction for the development of measurement science in the next European Research and Innovation Programme.

Metrology is a strategic asset for Europe.
It forms the foundation of technological sovereignty, the implementation of advanced technologies, secure supply chains, artificial intelligence, standardization, and reliable data ecosystems. It is the key to the EU’s competitiveness, innovation, and sustainable development.

Ukraine is part of the European metrological space.
Supporting the initiative:

• strengthens the export potential of Ukrainian businesses;
• promotes integration into European supply chains;
• ensures the implementation of innovations and trust in data across industry, energy, medicine, the agro-sector, and the digital economy.

We urge Ukraine’s scientific institutions, universities, industry associations, enterprises, and startups to support the EURAMET appeal.
